Annual General Meeting 2020

This year’s Annual General Meeting of Leeds City Credit Union will take place at 6.00pm on Wednesday 29th January 2020 at The Civic Hall, Leeds LS1 1UR.

The AGM is the time when the Credit Union’s Board of Directors reports to members on the work and activity that has taken place during the last financial year. It also gives members the opportunity to vote on any proposed rule changes and elect Directors. Members may nominate prospective Directors in advance of the meeting. Tea and coffee will be available from 5.30pm. Members will have an opportunity to meet Directors and staff before the start of the meeting.

The agenda for this year’s AGM will include:

  • Welcome to members and guests
  • Minutes of the previous AGM
  • Presentation of the Credit Union’s accounts by the Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee
  • Report of the external auditors; Hallidays
  • Report of the President and the Chief Executive Officer
  • Election of the external auditors
  • Consideration of proposed rule changes
  • Election of Directors
  • Thank you to members and guests for attending and close of the meeting

Time will be provided after the two financial reports for questions and discussion. Those who wish to attend the AGM may request a copy of the previous year’s minutes and the 2018/2019 accounts in advance. They will also be available at the meeting.
