As we enter the next step of lockdown easing, we have decided to help our LCU members with a list of things that are reopening across Leeds and Yorkshire.
We previously listed out everything that will be set to reopen each month of the government’s plan to ease lockdown, but in this blog, we will list everything fun and exciting that will be reopening - there should be something for everyone!
April 12th will see the return of pubs in some capacity. Bars and pubs can reopen in an outdoor setting, many places across Leeds and Yorkshire have opened for bookings. Leeds-List have put together all of the places taking bookings for the next few months, as well as places that are taking walk-ins on April 12th.
Some of our best picks from their list are, Belgrave Music Hall, The Mustard Pot, Water Lane Boathouse and Cuckoo.
Lots of restaurants will also be reopening in some capacity, here are a couple of our favourites.
Dakota Bar and Grill is a place you can enjoy some fine dining on Greek Street once again - serving some of the best steak in Leeds.
Chow Down is also returning and is a place hailed for its incredible selection of food, drink, and music. However it is returning bigger and better with new seating at Temple Arches. You can find out more about this fun venue here.
You can find all the restaurants that are opening across the whole of Yorkshire including Leeds, from the Yorkshire Food Guide!
For fitness lovers it will have been a tough lockdown with gyms being closed, but now they are back and hopefully here to stay as well! There are a few new rules to follow as gyms return on April 12th, you can only go on your own or with household groups.
Some gyms with outdoor facilities will have already opened, you can find the nearest gyms in the Leeds area here.
This next lockdown easing step will see theme parks and zoos return. With Lightwater Valley reopening on the 17th of April and Flamingo Land returning on the 12th, it’s the perfect time to book tickets and enjoy some wicked rides and see some of the wildlife on show.
For you animal lovers, The Yorkshire Wildlife Park will be back open on the as well. With nearly 400 animals and 70 different species of animal, Yorkshire Wildlife Park is a fantastic place to experience a walk-through wildlife adventure.
Why not also take a look at some of the best walking locations across Yorkshire?
We are still here to help this year as we return to normality, we have a wide range of low-interest loans, savings products, and much more, to give you peace of mind as you begin saving for more events and activities.
