5 Half-Term Activities For The Family

Ice Cube Ice Rink

Ice Cube is Yorkshire’s coolest wintertime attraction, and it’s back at Millennium Square once again. Ice Cube is open throughout the half-term holiday, so get stuck into some icy fun for all the family until the 23rd of February!

Science and Slime 

Looking for a bit of slime with your science? Sublime Science will be hosting a series of workshop-style shows at Stockeld Park. The Sublime Science scientists will be presenting a 35-minute workshop full of scientific surprises, smoke, flying contraptions and bucket loads of slime. Follow this link for more information. 

Love Birds at Lotherton Hall

From the 10th until 25th February, come along and celebrate your love of birds at Lotherton Hall. Love Birds will encourage your little ones to take a closer look at an array of feather friends, from Humboldt Penguins to Bright Pink Flamingos.

The Bear at Leeds Playhouse

The Bear is the story of a little girl befriends a mischievous polar bear - playful, funny and heart-warming, this tale of imagination is filled with dazzling puppetry, beautiful music and dozens of laughs - perfect for kids aged 3 - 8, you won’t want to miss it!

Abbey House Museum

Head down to Abbey House Museum this half-term as the Victorian exhibit becomes a hub of half-term activities - themes include Roald Dahl, Treasure Island and The Jungle Book. These events are a tonne of fun and great for the whole family - find out more here.
